Black and white photographer
My favorite photos are black and white. There is just something magical that happens when the color is drained from a picture. The emotions suddenly become more vibrant, and the textures pop.
I do like color, but my true love is black and white photography.

Tampa Business Photography Portrait
Tampa Senior Photographer
I remember seeing this guy somewhere before. Oh, yeah. It is Drew (the other photographer who never blogs).
Drew is launching a new business (more details about that later). So he needed some savy new business owner portraits for his website.
This one is my favorite. I think he looks like he's in a band.

Sebring Wedding Photography
I love Jesus. I try to make Him #1 in my life. It is hard, and I'm selfish, but I know that He loves me even when I mess up.
When I take photos of people, I'm looking for the most attractive part of them. I try to find the spot where the light hits the person in such a way that it just makes him or her gorgeous. I do this because I believe God looks at all of us the same way. God isn't looking for our faults. He sees us all wrapped up in His son, Jesus, who sacrificed Himself for us. It makes us glamorous.
Enough preaching for the evening! Just thought you should know that about me.

Tampa Senior Portrait: Kurz Studio Photography
Factual Friday!
Twenty-seven years ago today, in California, Drew was born. Happy birthday to him!
Every year on our birthdays, we love to go to the Texas Cattle Company in Lakeland (we even got engaged outside, by Hollis Garden). It is the best beef I've ever had, and I grew up on a cattle ranch. Plus, they give a free steak if you go on the date of your birth, with proper id. Really great steaks, here we come!

Factual Friday
Kurz Studio Photography is not just about fun pictures. We have other creative outlets.
I love to sew! My grandmother and mom taught me when I was a little girl. Now sewing is something I do to relax.
I made the quilt that is currently on our bed.
I also did a really fun t-shirt quilt from all of the t-shirts that I got in high school. You all know you have a box in your closet somewhere full of them. =)
Drew liked comforters before I met him. However, once we got married and he moved in to my house, he discovered just how great a homemade quilt can be.
