Kati and Matt's engagement session was supposed to be outside in downtown Tampa. We were going to wander the streets around the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, snapping wonderful photos. When the day came for the engagement portraits, however, the heavens released their floodgates.

So we had to be flexible. The University of Tampa's Plant Hall is open all the time. It has a roof. We quick switched the plans and magic was made. UT provided some gorgeous photography backdrops!

But, really, I think it would be difficult to take a bad picture of these two.

Then the rain let up, so we could wander outside a little. Everything was so wet and fresh.

I get the best clients! I just love them!

Very carefully, Matt and Kati placed the ring in this flower IN THE FOUNTAIN! So scary, but so fun!

I love the porches at UT.

Boston and Brenda will have their ceremony and wedding reception in and around the Don Vicente and the Ybor City Museum in, well, Ybor City. So they chose to do their engagement portraits in the same area. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE taking pictures in Ybor? Look at all these great textures!
